Motorworld Köln-Rheinland is located not far from Kerpen, where Schumacher, the winner of 91 Grand Prix races, was born and grew up. When he was just four years old, his parents bought him a go-kart which he crashed into a lamp post in Kerpen. They began to take him, and soon his younger brother Ralf, to the go-karting track at Kerpen-Horrem. At just six years of age, Michael won his first club championship. Today, that facility in nearby Kerpen is named the ‘Michael Schumacher Kart and Event Center’.
“At Scenic we are constantly striving to bring our guests a varied range of fun-filled activities and experiences. Germany is synonymous with the motoring industry and in 2022, we will explore German motoring heritage with a special event at Motorworld in Cologne. This is a really fun event set amongst some of the world’s most prestigious classic and vintage cars,” said Janelle Maher, Scenic Journey Designer, Europe.
